The Artist's Description:Heres the thing, for my photography class we drew from a hat a piece of paper that either said darkroom, or digital. Witchever we got is what we have to do our 4th quart project on, witch is due June 15th I think. I got digital, so I have to make 20 prints of whatever. I choose vectors. :) . ( most people are just taking pictures with a digital camera, and filtering it, thats becuase they dont know how to use photoshop very well). So I started to make my frist print and it was hard, it's hard becuase I've never worked with something this big before, and its alot different. Anyways heres my first print, Expression, 7 x 10 at 300dpi. Please crit. this, I want to konw what I could do to improve.

Something different my usual style. But I'm getting more and more into "relaxed" type of photographs, if you can call it that.

It's not surposed to be perfect, with angle, lightning, pose ect.(And yes I know there is grain in the picture, you know while shooting against a strong lightning you'll get a grain texture to the picture. And in this one, I think it fits the mood well) It's surpose to capture and express the moment.

This is quite a personal piece to me. I had a couple of really depressing days, alot of emotional stuff and I really need to get some of it out. So I shoot some bathroom pictures to express the feelings.
There for I'm not really interested in "critic".

The Artist's Description:So and myself were driving along the coast in this black jeep that we rented from a friend (with short blonde hair – we didn’t mean to scratch her jeep up though) when all of a sudden we hear this loud

CRASH!

So then we come to a halt in the middle of the road (asphalt smelling of tires and gasps) and rush over only to find a puff off cloud curled over on the pebbles along the shore with clots of black sand under the soles of her feet
(because volcanoes do that to beaches)

Anyways so she was condensating her little eyes out…which explains why they were so puffy (like cumulonimbus types usually are)
So tried to console her by offering her an umbrella.
Naturally she refused being THE obstinate offspring of mother nature.

She had busted her lip on a single stone bleeding out oxygen and some other gaseous
matter.
As a matter of fact she was oxygen. 2Hydrogen, N, uranium? Ha.

Eventually she got heaved into the ocean by a tumble and evaporated back to the sky bit by bit, occasionally falling down on us, clumsy girl.

Flying ships. They've been done before, I know. But here's another version of one.

As usual, drawn and colored completely in Photoshop. No references. (Although I probably should have used some, since I don't think I got the goggles right. Can't...draw...glass....ugh.) Took about 12 hours total.

EDIT: I don't know if pics show up again on watch lists when they've been edited. If so, sorry about that! I'm going to try to make a print of this. As usual, I don't expect anyone to actually buy one, but erm, my mom wants a copy. (Heh heh).
